The New Design Banknotes and Coin of Indonesia Bank in December 2016

As you well know, that Bank Indonesia has launched a new rupiah money precisely on December 20, 2016. There are approximately seven denominations Rupiah four denominations of paper and Coin rupiah (Idr).  

The publication of the new rupiah currency as an implementation of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 7 Year 2011 on Currency with as stipulated in the Act Article 7, which reads Currency Law contains images of national heroes are set by presidential decree.

In the latest currency, consisting of 12 heroes. However, there will be 11 just the latest hero of the money, including :

Ir. Soekarno dan Moh. Hatta

Both of these proclaimers remained emblazoned on the latest rupiah currency denominations of Rp.100,000 paper. In denominations of Rp. 100,000 which has been circulated to the current picture remains that both these heroes will be the image displayed on the money Rp. 100,000.

Djuanda Kartawidjaja

IR's National Hero. H. Juanda Kartawidjaja which is a hero of Indonesian sovereignty in which a hero who plastered on paper Rupiah denominations of Rp. 50,000 paper.

Gerungan Sauk Samuel Jozias Ratulangi

Sauk grunt Jozias Samuel Ratulangi is a national hero who is better known by the name of Sam Ratulangi as Governor of the First in the South, where now he is plastered on the rupiah denominations of Rp. 20,000 paper.

Frans Kaisiepo

National Hero Frans Kaisiepo now plastered on the new currency as money Denomination Rp. 10,000 paper.

Idham Chalid

dam Chalid is a hero of South Kalimantan. He is a politician who is very influential and at that time he served as deputy prime minister in the cabinet Juanda Indonesia. His face is now plastered on the rupiah currency denominations of Rp. 5000 paper.

Mohammad Hesni Thamrin

Mohammad is a merintiskan Indonesia's Independence Revolution. In addition to this face is plastered on the main street in Jakarta, it is now the face of Mohammad Hesni this Thamrin plastered on the new currency with denominations of Rp. 2,000 paper.

Tjut Meutia

Tjut Meutia is a national hero of Pirak, North Aceh. He became a national hero of Indonesia for Presideng Decree No. 107/1964 in 1964. Today, his picture plastered on the new currency denominations of Rp. 1,000 paper.

I Gusti Ketut Pudja

I Gusti Ketut Pudja participate in the formulation of Indonesia through the Indonesian Independence Preparatory Committee to represent the Lesser Sunda or Bali and Nusa Tenggara. The picture is now posted on the rupiah currency denominations of Rp. 1,000 coin.

TB Simatupang

He is a national hero Lt. Gen. (ret) Tahi Bonar Simatupang. Now the picture is plastered on the amount of metal shards NKRI with RP. 500.00 metals.

Tjipto Mangunkusumo

He was a leader of the Indonesian independence movement. Together with Douwes Dekker and Ki Hajar Dewantara, he was known as the Triad. Now the picture is plastered on the rupiah currency denominations of Rp. 200.00  Coin.

Herman Johannes

He is a complete fighter Indonesia. He is a scholar, politician, scientist Indonesia and also professor of the University of Gajah Mada (UGM). The picture will be displayed on the banknotes of Rp. 100.00 Coin.
